    UMC is an industry leader in the importing and distribution of specialty colorants, high-purity source materials for semiconductor fabrication, additives for clean water, and ingredients for cosmetic and food/beverage applications.

    UMC is currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Representative to assist the Department Manager in fulfilling the following responsibilities:

    • Handling regulatory compliance inquiries from customers and maintaining up-to-date documentation.

    • Internal auditing, gap analysis, and self-assessments.
    • Brainstorming and project management in support of company initiatives and goals.

    Position: Account Sales Specialists, Colorants Business Unit – Mid West Area and New Jersey Area

    Business Unit Description: UMC is the industry leader in special effects pigments. UMC offers customers a complete line of organic, daylight fluorescent, phosphorescent, thermochromic, photochromic, UV security and pearlescent pigments.

    Responsibilities:

    • As an Account Sales Specialist for United Mineral & Chemical, Corp., you will be responsible for all corporate accounts assigned in a geographic area.
    • Grow profitably United Mineral & Chemical, Corp. market share at existing corporate accounts using consultative selling process.
    • Enhance United Mineral & Chemical, Corp. position within each corporate account using consultative, value selling at all levels within the account
    • Create and execute on short, medium, and long-term customer growth strategies
    • Negotiate pricing, as well as maintain and coordinate customer quotations

    Maintenance Technician

    Job Summary:

    ICD Alloys and Metals is a leading Aerospace recycling company based in Winston Salem North Carolina. We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to support our hard-working team. A successful Maintenance Technician performs a variety of tasks under close supervision. These tasks may include preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.

    Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, and basic tools and appliances. To excel in this position, you must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Must understand and respect all safety procedures, LOTO, SOPs, etc
    • Inspecting buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
    • Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
    • Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
    • Managing heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
    • Planning and scheduling repairs.

    Mechanical Engineer

    Job Overview

Top candidates need great verbal and written communication skills to effectively explain their work to internal clients and to provide clear written directions on how to use their machines and equipment. Self-starter with project management abilities is preferred to ensure completion of projects on time while developing and following schedules with strict deadlines.     Responsibilities for Mechanical Engineer

    • Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new and existing processes.
    • Develop testing processes and perform testing and validation of new designs.
    • Generate working prototypes for beta testing of new installations.
    • Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
    • Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.

    • Knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
    • Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems.
    • Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
    • Experience with MS Project and all MS business software.
    • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
    • Electrical engineering background also preferred.

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for a sorting various stainless steel scrap metals in a large metal recycling facility.

    General Responsibilities

    • Ability to sort and grade stainless steel scrap based on appearance, quality and chemistry.
    • Able to use an XRF Scanner and other hand-held tools and equipment.
    • Basic computer skills and data entry capabilities are required.
    • Responsible for all associated paperwork.
    • Adhere to all safety, health and environmental standards and keep a clean and organized work area.
