ICD Melting Solutions is a division of ICD Alloys and Metals located in Albertville, Alabama. Our mission is to expand the value ICD brings to the market by enhancing the capabilities we deliver for our customers.

We work in strategic partnership with our clients to provide custom solutions using electric arc furnaces, AOD, and toll processing. Our manufacturing process involves the utilization of nickel, cobalt, and iron-based alloys to produce a range of products, such as ingots, pigs, and sows.

Product and Services

ICD Melting Solutions can produce a range of 17 lb certified pigs to 1500 lb ingots (nickel and cobalt based alloys). Our melting capabilities consist of 5-ton EAF, with 5-ton AOD refining processes. Toll melting is available, and all finished material is inspected and certified by our in-house laboratory.
